M.A. DANKO grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York State and has Hungarian and Irish heritage. She is a lover of all arts. She has been drawing and painting for as long as she can remember, playing music, writing poems, short stories, and novels. Now, she lives and is surrounded by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, which inspires her writing and art.

   “I love transporting my readers to a time and place they could never experience. I want them to laugh, cry, fall in love, root for the good guys, and find that love-hate for the villains. Add a bit of surrealism to every story to make my readers think, what if that could happen? Because we never really know what the next chapter in our life holds!”
